At the Latino Early Care and Education Coalition (LECEC), we work to empower Latino early childhood professionals in Maryland. We support Spanish-speaking educators, providers, and community leaders through training, mentorship, advocacy, and access to essential resources. Our mission is to ensure that those who care for and educate our youngest children have the tools and recognition they deserve.

We believe in the strength of our culture and the power of coming together as a community to build a more just, inclusive, and representative early education system.

En la Coalición Latina de Cuidado y Educación Temprana (LECEC), trabajamos para empoderar a los profesionales latinos de la primera infancia en Maryland. Apoyamos a educadores, proveedores y líderes comunitarios de habla hispana a través de la capacitación profesional, el acompañamiento, la defensa de sus derechos y el acceso a recursos clave. Nuestra misión es asegurar que quienes cuidan y educan a nuestros niños pequeños tengan las herramientas y el reconocimiento que merecen.
